The 2011 NSBE Region 6 FRC was an unbelievable success. We appreciate every individual that attended the event to make it such a fantastic success this year. We hope that you got as much out of this as we have and that you return home with this big question in mind: Why? Thank you and we look forward to seeing you all at the 38th Annual Convention on March 28th - April 1st, 2012 in Pittsburgh. Six House!

Whose House?

Every year in the fall, each region of the National Society of Black Engineers convenes to share experiences, expertise and inspiration to help maximize individual successes and contributions to our communities. In November 2011, Region Six intends to dial this energy up several notches.

You need to prepare for an event that you cannot afford to miss. This year's event will be focused on reaching way down to the roots of what makes NSBE great. So what is this core vision? Participation! NSBE is the great organization that it is today because of the combined participation of tens of thousands of students, teachers, and professionals who chose to get up, get out and make a difference. In fact, NSBE is one of the greatest student-run organizations on Planet Earth because of our participation.

This is why the 2011 Region Six Fall Regional Conference is the professional development and networking opportunity that you simply cannot afford to miss. This event will provide every attendant the information and tools to participate in a way that maximizes leadership experience, educational success and career advancement opportunities. The workshops, motivational speakers, competitions, recreational activities, career fairs, and networking opportunities have all been designed with these powerful objectives in mind:

  • Meaningful
  • Interactive
  • Down to Earth

It will be three days that will make a difference in how you participate in NSBE and what you get out of NSBE. This is the NSBE Blueprint, to promote Leadership, Teamwork and Inspiration in your career and your education. All this combined with the stunning backdrop of Denver, Colorado makes this the conference you have to attend.

Therefore, before it's too late, you need to get yourself and all your friends registered and book your flights and hotels. The early bird registration closes fast and there are a limited number of tickets which will sell out soon. Do not procrastinate.. participate! And if you need any more information, this website and the Facebook page should provide a lot of details. If you want to contact the Conference Planning Committee, you can do so on Twitter, Facebook, or by e-mail and we will be sure to get to you very quickly.

If you would like to participate in planning, coordinating or running the event, please make sure that you contact us soon. You are very likely to receive significant discounts to your registration fees. Some volunteers may not have to pay a fee at all!

So, lets repeat this question again. Who's house?

Six House!*

*Please refrain from yelling to your computer at this time. Save that energy for the conference. Thanks.
